The possibility of installing only the built-in body facilitates both the work of the plumber, who can proceed without the external parts, as well as the customer who has plenty of time to comfortably decide on the design and finish to match the style of the bathroom.

These mixers are designed to control the flow and temperature of water for a single outlet,
which is usually the shower head. They mainly consist of an internal mixing valve that regulates the flow of hot and cold water and an external handle to control the temperature and flow.
Built-in bodies 2 and 3 outlets
These mixers have two or three outlets that can be used to control two separate water flows, for example a ceiling-mounted shower head and a wall-mounted shower. They have a similar structure to 1-outlet mixers, but with an additional valve called a diverter that diverts the flow between the first, second and third outlet. The diverter can be mechanical, for the two outlets then with a button to press to divert which then returns to the original position, or with ceramic diverter for the two outlets and the three outlets, modern and ergonomic. Also in this case, the user can adjust the temperature and water flow through a single external handle.
The external parts are the same for both the 2-outlet and 3-outlet built-in bodies.
